Once you hit that book button on your own, you're on your own. I've been there myself: years ago, before I became an advisor, Craig and I had a flight canceled on the way to a river cruise in Germany, on a weekend, with no customer service reachable. We solved it ourselves because we'd lived in Germany, but the passengers who'd booked through an advisor made one phone call and were guided through the whole disruption. That trip is part of why I do this job.
